Can i use rtePad in my Content Management System?
Yes, rtePad is compatible with all content management systems.
Do I need to use a specific language such as ASP or PHP in order to use rtePad?
rtePad is 100% Javascript based so it will work with any server side web language, we have full integration examples available for ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Javascript/AJAX, JSP and ColdFusion.** Please note that file upload functionality is currently only supported with PHP.
What web browsers is rtePad compatible with?
rtePad is compatible with the following web browsers.

Can I insert multiple instances of rtePad on the same page?
Yes, rtePad supports multiple instances on the same page and each instance has its own configuration settings.
Does rtePad output XHTML compliant code?
Yes, rtePad generates XHTML 1.0 Strict code.
Can I limit the length of text or amount of words users can input into the editor?
Yes, you can specify the maximum amount of characters or words allowed in the editor.
Can I configure rtePad to auto save the content every minute like Gmail does?
Yes, you can easily specify an external page to save the content of the editor at a specified interval.
Can I change the look and feel of the editor?
Yes, rtePad has been built from the ground up to be easily customizable through CSS and image tiling.
Can I add/remove the buttons on the tool bar?
Yes, you can completely customize the layout and buttons in rtePad, even multiple instances on the same page!

Do you offer a free trial version?
We currently do not offer a trial version of rtePad.
Can i upgrade my license at a later point in time?
Yes, you can upgrade your license at any point in the future, and pay the difference.
What payment methods do you offer?

Do I ever have to pay for updates or support?
